On Labor Day weekend, Club Congress packs 37 local, national, and international acts into four days for the ten-year anniversary of HOCO FEST, also known as Tucson’s oldest indoor/outdoor, multimedia festival with good eats and great drinks. The party runs Thursday, August 28 and through Sunday, August 31, with free shows, V.I.P. tickets, limited-edition t-shirts, and more.

Day One:

Red Bull Sound Select Presents Musical Acts: hot national indie acts Classixx, Superhumanoids, Hustle & Drone, The Flavr Blue, O/W/L/S, and BFF DJs.

Day Two:

Friday we offer two killer stages: the Rock Stage featuring Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers and the Heavy, Heavy Rock Stage featuring legendary English Space Rock pioneers, Hawkwind led by Nik Turner. Also included in this Rock Fiesta is renowned guitar maestro Ian Moore and The Lossy Coils, San Francisco’s The Soft White Sixties, and longtime AZ favorite Rich Hopkins and The Luminarios. The Heavy Stage also includes national rockers Witch Mountain, Hedersleben, as well as local metal masters, Fuzz Evil and Chamber.

Our popular HOCO Saturday FREE day will not disappoint this year with an amazing line-up featuring Zackey Force Funk, Prom Body, Mute Swan, Katterwaul, Fur Family and much more! And of course the much loved Cup Café BBQ! Doors open at 6 p.m. and the free show is for ages 21+

Day Four:

Our annual Latin night closes HOCO, and it is jammed packed with amazing Latin, indie-cumbia and Mariachi music. Headlining is the exciting local big band Sergio Mendoza Y La Orkestra and Mexico City’s Mexican Institute of Sound. Also Carlos Azrate and the Kind Souls, Sweet Ghosts, and more will fill out the night. Local super group Chicha Dust hosts the closing night after party in Club Congress too.
