Meet the Founders
Matthew and Kimberly Clifton were top-producing REALTORS® in Southern Arizona for many years. They saw an opportunity to reinvent the real estate brokerage model in a way that would put the needs of agents, clients, and the community first. In September of 2001, they founded Tierra Antigua Realty.
“Tierra Antigua” means “ancient earth” in Spanish. Together, Matt and Kim have orchestrated a rise to excellence that has seen their brokerage currently employ over 1,100 agents and hold the #1 market share in Cochise County, SierraVista, and Gila Valley. Tierra Antigua Realty has achieved acclaim as a top 60 regional employer, a consistent community service award winner, and one of the most recognizable brands in Southern Arizona.
Kim’s passion for service to her fellow professionals is evident. She has served as chair of the Arizona Real Estate Advisory Board, President and Director of the Tucson Association of REALTORS®, President and Director of MLSSAZ (Multiple Listing Service of Southern Arizona), and the Arizona Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors.
Matt and Kim possess magnetic personalities, razor-sharp business sense, and have a history of success across the real estate industry. Their leadership style is to personally engage those they serve with an attitude of warmth, caring, and a willingness to listen. They are personally dedicated to raising the bar in real estate every day.
The Tierra Timeline
Tierra Antigua Realty opens it’s 8th office at 4th Avenue and University in Tucson.
Tanque Verde office gets remodeled!
Tierra Antigua continues to grow and we expanded our Downtown Office.
Tierra Antigua builds and opens the new North West office located off of Ina and La Cholla in Tucson.
Tierra Antigua Realty celebrates 20 years in business!
We hit 1k agents total!
Grand opening of the Safford office.
Growing to over 900 agents, Tierra Antigua Realty opens two locations in 2015! It’s Downtown Tucson and Green Valley/Sahuarita offices.
Tierra Antigua Hope Foundation was founded. Since its conception we have raised over $450,000 to give back to our local community!!!
Tierra Antigua opens its fourth location at Ina and Oracle. Ensuring a convenient location for agents and clients all around Southern Arizona.
Matt & Kim recognized the growth and stability of Cochise County and opened the Sierra Vista Office.
With a rapidly growing market share, Tierra Antigua Realty opened its second Tucson location at Tanque Verde and Sabino Canyon.
After growing exponentially in a short amount of time, Tierra Antigua moved to a larger location at River and Campbell.
Tierra Antigua Realty Established in 2001 opening its first office at Ina & La Cholla.
